Technicolor to triple its DVD manufacturing capacity.........
newsalert.com

Technicolor is the world's largest producer of prerecorded videocassettes and has a growing business in manufacturing DVDs
and other disc-based formats. The company is investing a further $10 million in building two new manufacturing lines, one of
which will be capable of manufacturing the DVD 9 dual-layered disc format. The expansion will triple Technicolor's DVD
replication capacity from 5 to 15 million units per year.

Techniolor handles a vast logistics operation, distributing both videocassettes and DVDs to thousands of retail outlets for its
customers. Technicolor's clients include Hollywood studios (Disney, Warner, New Line, Republic and DreamWorks), as well
as major independent rights holders and interactive content publishers.
