Mark: I was sitting in church tonight and we sang a song called "Amazing Grace." Do you know the song? As we were singing it, the Lord brought you to my mind. The first verse of the song is as follows: Amazing grace how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now am found, was blind but now I see. The song definitely describes my life, and probably the lives of many Christians. That is why I believe the song is so enormously popular. The central theme of the song is the concept of "grace." Grace is simply unmerited favor, and that is what God has given to all through his Son Jesus Christ. May God keep you and may you, too, one day sing "Amazing Grace" with true heart-felt conviction.
