my value of ~7 megabytes per second is assuming industry standard
mjpeg codec with around a 1.6-2.0 compression ratio.

I am fully aware that if I want to do uncompressed broadcast quality video, i'll have to buy a set of striped hard drives and generally spend a lot more money and buy a lot more equipment. But for 1st generation output to beta, mjpeg compression is fine.

but you do make my point- broadcast quality (or even close to it) video over the internet is not going to happen ANYTIME soon.

:)

John: Hi from a TAVA co-conspirator. I see you have a position in this stock. Could you say a few words (or direct me to some good posts) as to why NETZ might be a good investment? The rest of the board has been of little help, and there's a lot of weird issues clouding it up.

In particular, what does NETZ have technologically?

Thanks for any information,

Wade
