GLM says that approx. 50% of 1998 revenues will come from deep water. Used to be considered a shallow water driller.

Luc You don't know s#$% from shinola about GLM. My son is a driller on the Glomar Celtic Sea. It is rated at 5000ft. water depth. It is 35 story's tall from the waterline to the top. GLM pioneered the floaters in the 60's. They currently have 9 floaters at this time Regards GB

Are you sure about GLM not having deep water stuff? I've got them with 2 Drill Ships 18 Jack-ups 6 Semisubmersibles 1 Concrete island. Aren't Drill Ships and semisubs deep water? Do I need to change the info?

"GLM is not a deep water driller and never has been"....Thought you'd like this, Luc - Houston-based Global Marine is one of the largest worldwide offshore drilling contractors, with an active fleet of 33 mobile rigs worldwide including one rig undergoing conversion and two new rigs under construction for *deep-water drilling*. In addition, the company is the industry's largest provider of turnkey drilling services, employing approximately 16 additional rigs.
