Inter AOL email takes priority. That's the way it works. I get most of my emails late from Mex.

This is why I dropped AOL. Now, using my local service provider, my email gets delivered in seconds. I receive instantaneously, too, unless it's coming from an AOL user. Sometimes a followup message from an AOL person will arrive before the one it was supposed to follow.
