pc, I have never shorted BCB nor any other stock, and if I was to short a stock, I wouldn't pick one that trades at 13 cents. Perhaps you came in in the middle of a discussion - you should glance over some of the earlier replies. If you read my message carefully, I did not say that I hope that BCB doesn't get a big contract. I said I hope I don't find out about it in the morning paper (after the price has been run up by insiders from 13 to 23 cents, which is what was happening yesterday and the day before). How would you feel if you came home one day, slept with your wife, and then in the morning, while she's lovingly pouring you a cup of coffee, you open the local paper, and find out she's leaving you, and on top of it she cleaned out your bank account. You should also read my later discussion with Flora: Me: Can you give any explanation why the stock price increase by 50% in one day? Flora: Nothing official that I can comment on. This means one of three things: 1) "Nothing is going on at the company - somebody big stopped selling, or somebody big started buying." 2) "Yes there's a big contract being signed, but I'm sure as hell not gonna tell you about it, because I'm not done buying the stock for myself. After we release the news, my stock will double, and I will sell it to you then" 3) "I am not supposed to comment on it, but when me and the boys are boozing it up after work we can't seem to keep our mouths closed, and everybody at the bar overheard us discussing the new contracts, and rushed out and bought 626 thousand shares. Don't worry George, we at BCB are very honest - we just can't keep a secret. I hope this explains my earlier message. George.
