Frequently Asked Questions

We think it's GREAT that so many people are interested in KryoTech and our upcoming products! We have added this
page in response to many of the questions we have received through email. If you have a question that is not covered
below, please send an email to Rob DiGiacomo or call him at +1 803 926 0066 ext. 24.

Section 1: Products and Distribution

Q1: Is KryoTech developing production-level cooling systems?

A1: Yes. Currently we are developing production-level cooling systems for the DEC Alpha and AMD K6
microprocessors.

Q2: When will these products be in production?

A2: Our DEC Alpha and AMD K6 cooling systems will be in production during the second quarter of 1998. We will
announce their availability on our website and through PRNewswire (http://www.prnewswire.com).

Q3: How will you sell them?

A3: We will sell directly to individuals over the internet and through a toll-free telephone number. We also will sell to
select resellers who build custom, high performance workstation systems.

Q4: Will you sell just the cooling system, or the cooling system embedded in a high performance
computer?

A4: For the AMD K6, we will sell a "bare bones" platform (ATX computer case, power supply, high performance
motherboard pre-configured with the correct clock multipliers, CPU, and integrated cooling system). This will enable our
customers to configure memory, adapters and peripherals without having to worry about the cooling system. This gives
our individual customers the freedom to add exactly the components they want -- including components they might
already own from another system. This also gives our resellers the opportunity to obtain revenue and margin on the rest
of the high performance solution -- including hardware, software and services. Our actions and our product programs
show that we care about our customers and our partners!

The exact content of our DEC Alpha product has not been determined as of this time, and will be finalized pending
negotiations currently underway between KryoTech and Digital Equipment Corp.

Q5: Will your products be distributed internationally?

A5: Yes. We are in the process of setting up our distribution channels for the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Please
stay tuned to our website for updates and announcements.

Q6: What type of resellers are you looking for? How can I become a KryoTech reseller?

A6: We are looking for resellers who build custom, high performance workstation systems. We offer the fastest hardware
platform available as the foundation of a high-performance computing solution. By design, we leave plenty of room for
our partners to add value above our platform in hardware, software and services. If you would like more information
about becoming a KryoTech reseller, please send an email to Rob DiGiacomo or call him at +1 803 926 0066 ext. 24.

Q7: Do you have other cooling systems under development?

A7: Yes. We have built prototypes for the Intel Pentium Pro, Intel Pentium II, and other RISC architectures. Details
related to these systems are confidential and proprietary to KryoTech and our partners. As stated previously, our first
production-level products will be for the DEC Alpha and AMD K6.

Section 2: Technology

Q1: Are your products environmentally friendly?

A1: Yes. We use "green" components in our cooling systems, including an environmentally safe Freon replacement as
our refrigerant.

Q2: How much electrical power does your cooling system require while in operation?

A2: This depends on the wattage of the CPU we are cooling. As a rule of thumb, factoring in the efficiency of our cooling
system and parasitic thermal loads, it takes about 100 watts of electrical power to cool a 30 watt CPU to minus 40C --
about the same as a household incandescent light bulb.

Q3: How do you prevent ice or condensation from forming around the very cold CPU?

A3: We have a set of patents and trade secrets for preventing condensation. This is the center of KryoTech's expertise
and one of our most important value-adds. We have been running minus 40C computer systems since December 1994
without condensation!

Q4: Do you plan to cool CMOS devices to temperatures colder than minus 40C?

A4: Yes. We have a contract with the U.S. Naval Research Lab to evolve our current technology to temperatures in the
range of 150K (minus 123C). We are performing this work in conjunction with our refrigeration partner, MMR
Technologies, Inc (http://www.mmr.com). At this low temperature, the performance of standard CMOS devices roughly
doubles. Additional performance gains can be achieved by optimizing the semiconductor design and process for low
temperature operation.

Section 3: Company

Q1: Is KryoTech publicly traded?

A1: No. We are a privately held corporation based in West Columbia, South Carolina, USA.

Q2: Do you have plans to go public?

A2: We do not comment on this, due to requirements of the US Securities and Exchange Commission and our business
priorities. Our focus and mission is to deliver superior, high quality products to our customers.

Q3: Is it possible to invest in your company?

A3: Please direct any questions related to investing in KryoTech to our Chief Financial Officer, Dave Niles. His email
address is daven@kryotech.com and his phone number is +1 803 926 0066 ext. 12. This is not a solicitation to invest in
KryoTech, Inc.

Maybe the numbers don't show it, but you have to admit that Rosner & Co. have been busy this past year. BTW, do we know if the freon-replacement referred to by Kryotech is FRIGC??
