Haven't been watching it for a few days .. should be.
heard a rumor that the Japanese government was making a move to prop up their market through US futures.

The chain of events that you noticed would have been Japanese investors pulling the plug to go home .. did a double check .. yep, they're doing pretty good over there tonight.

Saw the drop in bonds and figured that the money was going to go into DJIA or NAZ or back into bonds. No to all three. Wasn't until I saw your post that I realized that I hadn't been watching the yen.

Market for Thursday will have a shortage of cash. Tough to make much of a run up.

Could go for liquidity rotation .. bonds down->DJIA up .. or something like that. Don't think that will happen. If anything liquidity rotation would roll towards bonds.
