Thanks, Veritas for the info. Unfortunately, I contacted E-Trade Canada and they can only open accounts for Canadians. They obviously suggested E-Trade (U.S.), but I've heard the same thing you mentioned (ie:problems) with the E-Trade here in the U.S.. Somewhere there must be an answer to getting a brokerage here in the U.S. who can execute trades fast, with good fills, and at a reasonable commission to allow active trading of 5000 to 20-40000 shares of low priced Canadian resource stocks. Particularly with the wide spreads on many of these issues, it seems that we take the risk and unless you're holding long term rather than trading, the brokerage takes alot of the profit significantly decreasing the risk/reward ratio.
