Dear G Garrett
Living in Omaha across the street from Ameritrade. My best friends
brother-in-law works for PKS. As I was sitting in Ameritrade's lobby,
buying KIWT last month, someone commented on the steady stream of
people walking in off of the street to buy this stock. Everyone in the
office owns some. Having friends like Warren Buffet and Walter Scott
doesn't hurt, but I think people are buying this stock based on Crowe.
A wealthy customer of mine is touting the notion that everyone should
wait till this stock drops back to 40, and then buy. That's fine, but
with 90% of the shares held by employees you had better hope someone
wants to sell! He may be right, but we play long term with cash. This
may be legalized gambling, but I would rather play a slot machine that
has payed me than one that has never payed off. Waiting for April Fool
's day to see who was fooled!

your reply is welcome, and it strengthens a great point.
The question is did you buy qwst elix iixc icgx icix? There are a few good managers in these companies also. The combined market cap of these companies is $12.7billion. these companies all have operations. qwst mkt cap is $8billion(they have an ip network)

If you are going to joust with me be consistent. AOL, amzn yhoo xcit lcos are completely different companies and require different analysis. aol had a 250m market cap at the same time that it had operations. And that was an investment in what few people had ever heard of....The internet.

If you are trying to tell me that you are applying the same analysis to lvlt and that is the basis for your bullishness I would consider that a negative. I am very bullish on this industry and it's prospects but I am trying to be sober about where I deploy assets.
