Has anyone heard of Halidon Communications?

halidon.com

This page was activated on 1/26/98 and is not yet "fully operational"
but it is "curious."

The only reason I ask is that their name came up on a search I was doing on Franklin.

I'm not implying anything here, just doing a little online DD!

Thanks, Jacksman.

Today was a little different. The range changed 98 times. I was following real time quotes from 10:45 to 11 and felt like I had the trading log in front of me because the quote and range changed with every reading.

We had a sell off until 10:15. By then 20.4k shares traded at the offer and 47.2k shares at the bid. A major rally then took us through 12:30. The rally was supported by 78.6k/offer and 46.9k/bid. Interesting note that it started on a 10k block at the bid and a 10k block at the offer, side by side. And away we went. At 12:30, the market did a flip-flop. The bid became the offer. It doesn't happen often and I see no reason for it as the bid/offer ratio was pretty even before and after the flip-flop. The market traded down 1/4 before two hours were up (1:30pm), though the buying outweighed selling by 7 to 5 and over the last 2 1/2 hours of trading things quieted down though the ratio of buys to sells reversed.

In all 121.9k/offer vs 118.6k/bid. About 60k in blocks traded: 20.9k buys, 14.2k neutrals and 28k sells.
