I think BG is just trying to give the congress and Orin Hatch a mindf**king. He wants to send a message that if they try anything, MS can bring the economy to it's knees. :-(

Don the MSFT guy could have been posturing for the DOJ

Hopefully your 110 calls will expire before 1Q's earnings report and LG's 5th annual meeting .

I didn't see the MSFT pitch but there is a rumor floating MSFT is concerned about new DOJ reviews of their aggressive acquisition strategy .

If that was a 500,000 IBM share buy or a combo of large buys , then I suspect "sumptins zup" .

Don, apples and oranges. If IBM had MS's market value i'd be negative too. Of course IBM would be well over TWO HUNDRED!!!!!!!!!!!
And IBM makes alot more $$$$$$$!!!!!!!!
