Hello Shalom! Today in an excess of guilt, I made banana bread--nice and dark, and I even sprinkled wheat germ on the top. So I have redeemed myself in the eyes of the nutrition goddess. Please note small g--just a little joke-I really don't pray to a nutrition goddess, although I've noticed that sometimes my family closes their eyes rather desperately before they eat my cooking. Do you notice that you and I always meet over food? It's not easy maintaining serenity in the midst of the strange maelstrom that whirls at times over the Christians and pagans alike, but you seem to do it with unflagging sweetness and good cheer. I am always happy when you stop by and say hello. penni
