Cowen contradicts all others. I like it, I just don't believe it, even Intel said it isn't so. Unfortunately the NATNBK one is probably closer to reality. Are they looking at the same Intel or am I missing something here ? These analysts talk to each other via email, etc. It is interesting that some do vary their opinion so much. I cannot tell if it is a specific agenda or just their calculations. Glenn

james, Re: COWEN & CO.'s estimate increase If this isn't a mistake these guys have fallen asleep at the wheel <GGG>. There is no way you can take Intel's revised guidance and come to the conclusion that you need to raise estimates from .90 to .93. In fact, .93 would have been fairly aggressive even for the original guidance. Something just doesn't add up. Downward guidance and an outright earnings warning do not add up to an increased estimate. FF
