Pixar's CFO said on CNBC a long time ago that it's a committee of five that makes the decisions, not Steve Jobs alone and that the company can run without him. More recently he has said that they are in touch with Jobs by phone a few times a day for discussions. Seems like he can run Pixar in a couple of minutes a day. It's gotta be harder on the family that he's doing both companies at once, though. When he takes the Apple position he'll have more time for them than he does now.
