As deep throat said to the reporters "follow the money" Trade deficit -> washed because of Fed cranking up the presses Inflation -> washed because Trade deficit Stock market -> up by way of overseas money looking for safe haven real inflation rate is 10% .. most of that is being held in the market. (and people wonder why Greenspan is always worried about inflation) everybody happy until home stock markets look better than US. Gersh
