I spoke to the IR person yesterday. He said they are waiting for the auditor's report before they can announce 4th quarter and year-end earnings. He doesn't expect any major disappointments. The company has earned US$.12 for the first 9 months, and they should have a year-end of about US$.15. At current prices that is a PE of 5.6.
Lately, the stock has been dropping on very low volume. I didn't expect to see it this low either. I am tempted to buy more, but I have enough shares already.

TM:

I wonder if some bad 1997 year end results are soon to be released?

Relatively high volume traded today with a drop in share price. I wonder if some mutual fund unloaded their holdings?

I bought this dog about a year ago at $2.85. Up until early December the stock held its own but it has slipped badly since. If I thought things were going to turn around I might add to my holdings while the price is cheap. Hate to throw good money down the drain though.

Steve R.
