everyone, i've owned ascend for over a year now and value everyones' opinion and would like to hear any thoughts on two stocks that might benefit from ascend eqiupment. they are netspeak (nspk) and vocaltek. they both are innovators in voice over internet and cutting long distance communications for international companies.
i read everything i can get my hands on concerning the networkers and tech. in general and this looks like this internet telephony is going to be the next big wave. what do you all think? is this for real or just a flash in the pan?
i believe this is going to be one of the by-product of network gear that will bring in all the big players to grab market share. there is literaly billions of $ in revenue at stake here that the telcos will lose if they don't have the hardware (asnd) and software (nspk & volcf). thanks in advance for any opinions.

Beach,
You have asked the exact same question that I am dying to know and it wasnt vague. I have my own private theory which is pure conjecture and most likely 1000% off the mark, but I think many of the weaker hands and people who were shaken in lasts weeks considerable pullback eagerly took profits just as the big boys( fund managers, professional traders, etc. who have been made privy to the usual, they know and we the little guys dont know, information and are piling into the stock) rode into town. I note a number of people on this thread and others lament that they didnt take profits when we were at 37 or 38. I think they were so intent on getting those profits when it started vaulting up in the last three days that they didnt notice or reflect on the amazing volume today. I believe that the stock would have risen another point or two if it werent for so many people wanting to get out with a profit. Perhaps Tim Luke is actually correct this time and we are indeed on our way to 40-42 in short order. I know I am holding 2k shares long and had 10 Sept 35 calls and took a chance yesterday and jumped on 20 April 35 calls yesterday because I thought we were going higher, so far so good. Like I said, I am probably just lost in the woods, but todays action was amazing to me with no real news and the other networkers not really following suite so barring enlightenment from another source I offer my own theory.
