of Directors

Ron Jankov Promoted to Senior VP and General Manager, Daniel Hauck Joins as Vice President
of Sales, and Klaus Wiemer Joins Board

SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- NeoMagic Corporation (Nasdaq: NMGC - news), the pioneer of
embedded DRAM and the world's first producer of a 128-bit single-chip multimedia accelerator for notebook computers,
today announced the promotion of Ron Jankov to senior vice president and general manager of the newly created Multimedia
Products Division, and the addition of Daniel Hauck as vice president of worldwide sales and Klaus Wiemer to the Board of
Directors.

''NeoMagic has experienced dramatic growth over the past year. Our revenues have more than tripled, and we've expanded
our employee base by more than 80%. We are now bolstering our management strength to accommodate these new levels of
activity,'' noted Prakash Agarwal, president and chief executive officer. ''We are consolidating the product development,
marketing and support for our first highly successful product line, portable multimedia accelerators, into a single product
division with a senior executive as general manager. This structure will allow rapid decision making and timely execution in a
customer and product focused business unit, while also allowing the corporation to begin exploring additional new product line
opportunities. We are also adding new strength to our team, bringing on board two seasoned industry executives,'' he added.

Mr. Jankov has over sixteen years of engineering, operations, sales, marketing and general management experience in the
semiconductor business. Prior to joining NeoMagic, Mr. Jankov served as vice president Asia operations of Cyrix
Corporation in Richardson, Texas, and before that was employed by Accell, LSI Logic, and Texas Instruments. Mr. Jankov
holds a BS in Physics from Arizona State University.

Hauck is a graduate of The Ohio Institute of Technology where he received his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering Technology.
