Ignacio, And you keep ignoring the fact that I am talking about water below the surface which is an unknown on Mars and the moon. I admit that I am speculating, but you also cannot rule it out. The amount of water below the surface of the Earth is poorly known. Recent estimates are that there may be more water below the surface of the Earth than above, and also that there may may be more life below our surface than above. My statements about the possibility of life on the moon and Mars are not as wild as they first appear. I repeat that I am talking about below the surface, perhaps a couple of kilometers, where it is warm, protected, and where water would be kept from boiling away because of pressure.

Show me where the data is on what lies below the surface of the moon and Mars. The ice crystals on the surface of the moon have just recently been confirmed because of recent advances in technology. Surely we are just guessing on what lies below the surface.
