Look for the 50s soon.VeriSign is the only name in the digital ID and certificate market - similar to CYCH, which exploded upward in its heyday and had a violent top. What will be VRSN's top? That's the mystery...my guess is that it will be way above 43.</li>

VRSN is the flavor of the month. In one year they will be trading in the teens. General public and business management don't fully understand current Digital certificate technology or it's potential. It's all so new and still evolving. How do they know if current certificate technology will best suit the needs/demands of the computer industry/enterprise/business/customer/applications/hardware/etc...? Leaders in certificate technology still have unanswered questions as we speak and are conducting R&D.
Here's the point I'm trying to get across to you:
Remember, VRSN is in the computer industry. Things change rapidly here. VRSN's technology is already "old". As with any new technology, current certificate technology is very cumbersome. In a nutshell: Industry leaders are waiting for the technology to become more efficient. Industry leaders would keep VRSN busier than a Hillbilly at a beer convention IF their technology was efficient. VRSN, Entrust, Cybercash, GTE and other existing certificate companies are working with an "old" template. Companies like DVNTF are working to create a new template. As soon as this happens VRSN and it's merry men will be out on their bottoms.
