Hi Luis. I am not exactly a good timer when it comes to buying or selling. Remember I put it on the thread that I sold all my CPQ earlier around 34. Of course it was just plain luck. No one knew what would happen after that. I thought it could drop to 30 maybe after the CFO spoke about a competitive January. Well it dropped to 23. I think you did very well buying back at around 23. I was thinking about it but thought I could get it at 20 the way things were going.

Anyhow, I guess you may have read it. I bought some of my CPQ back at 29 3/4 and then today at 26 1/4. Depending on how the market is doing tomorrow I may buy back the rest. Otherwise I will wait until Monday and see what happens. If it does not go up tomorrow I don't know what investors will do on Friday knowing the weekend is coming.

I heard a lot of talk today that this may only be a 1 or 2 qtr thing for CPQ and therefore investors are buying in again. There is also talk though that this Asian thing may have an effect on the US market after the next 2 qtrs. So we cannot be sure at this time if CPQ will go down again some. I don't know what to tell you. A lot of investors may think like us and don't want to miss the boat. But once it is up who knows if money managers will sell again until a cpl qtrs have gone buy. That is the risky thing about all this. And no one can guarantee what CPQ stock will do for sure. All I can say is: IMO it's a good bargain long term.

COMS. Wow. You did have quite a bit and we both should have sold all our COMS back in July. I may have sold a bit later. I got around 54. And then I sold the rest on Friday at 31 at a loss.
Coms was touted today that it should be bought for an early entry. But then I just noticed that there is a downgrade today on COMS to a hold.
I don't know if I would buy right now.
If you have bought COMS again in the 50s I would hold on I guess. I did not have that many shares, so my loss the other day was a lot less. I would just keep my eye on COMS and maybe buy if it starts moving up again. You will know within a quarter if things really work out for COMS. That company was a big disappointment to me. I always thought it was great but they just can't get their act together it seems. Of course the merger did not help, especially when the modem standard was delayed. Ok, Luis, now you have to make up your own mind. I sold on Friday before it was said that the networkers will do alright again. Csco was up today but Coms ended down after their earnings even though it was up earlier.

Good luck whatever you decide. I will let you know as soon as I buy some more CPQ. But pl. don't take it as a good indicator. I will just be going with my feelings.

Did you read the article from J. Jubank that Brian put on? That article said it was time to say goodbye to PCs. I don't feel that way but I am no expert, but Jubank isn't either. He is only investing in techs for the last 10 years he said or I think I remember him saying that. I think most of us have been at it longer than that. Read that article and my reply to Brian. I think it was yesterday.

Sonny

Here is Brian's post with the link on it. Of course the stocks went up yesterday and today. gg.
