I have been lurking on the site lately just getting caught up on the happenings in Joe's new cafe.

FWIW and remember this is just the VHO of a dum nek who don't know much bout nothin...old Joe is honest as they come...been knowing the Mexster for fairly long time now and actually introduced him to the wonderful world of Level ll (still owe me a beer and a possum burrito, Joe). We've had our share of winners and losers from the days of GRNO and VVUS at 72 pre-split(great short BTW) but I have always known the boy to be fair and willing to help one and all without need for much cept a thank you from time to time...

This new game of good DD combined with self directed momentum shifting has a great deal of promise. As most of you know, all you are doing is what the big boys do with recommendations as has been noted by some lately on the thread...Boys and girls...this is a dog eat dog world out there (no offense to the obnoxious BigDog and apolgies to Jane by da sea) so y'all have a several choices...
Play by their rules and takes your chances
Get your own game going and takes your chances with better odds
Stay out of the kitchen (always an option with the two above)

But whatever you do...win or lose...just report the facts and don't moan too loudly or crow too noisily...the next win or loss may be in your next trade...always spend your money as if it is your own because it is...and if you feel the need to do your own DD ...DO IT!!

But don't shoot the messenger (i.e. Joe)...His motive is simple and pure..GREED...as should it be yours...secondary is to help each other to accomplish the primary mission...

Just the thots of a dum nek again who don't know much bout nothin..

Joe, been following your thread for sometime and respect your work. Its real easy to keep score at this game, you're either making money or losing it, and your No#'s speak for themselves. Its also occured to me while reading all the different posts that there are a handful of people that contribute anything constructive to the thread. Over the last couple of hours there were only a handful of posts that were informational, the rest were garbage. Everyones insecurities are showing and its really been humorous if nothing else.

Making money on Wall Street takes years of hard work,,,you have to make mistakes to truly learn how this game is played. Consider the people that got burned today on GMTID, they made a basic mistake when placing their orders, but the learning experience will be a lasting one. And even members of the thread learned a valuable lesson from todays experience even if it didn't cost them anything,,,enough said.

I am a technical trader. My main source of fundamental analysis that I follow is insider trading. I run a insider trading search using Telescan to find Co's that have been beaten up, and let the insiders give the clues as to the future direction of stock prices. The quality of insider trading (# of insiders buying + # of shares purchased) is critical. Here is a stock thats popped up on my screen and the chart says now is the time to buy.

First Virtual Holdings (FVHI) The co went public late 96 ($9.50) and has pretty much gone down since then. In December 97 stock was selling above $5.00 and has been straight down since. Recently it has bottomed at .62 and is beginning to make its move. Remember its gone from over $5.00 to .62 without even a bounce on the monthly chart. Insider trading is as follows - (+13,000 at 1.00 2/98) - (+86,000 at .90 3/98) - (+58,000 at $2.63 12/97) - (+155,000 aat 4.12 9/97).

I am a short term trader, some of my positions last for days, weeks sometimes even months, i.e.,(RNTK). The chart says this stock is ready to move. Looking for at least a double if not higher.

Hope the info is helpful, keep up the good work and could you add me to your EM list. Also post your EM address, I don't have it.

Thanks again

J.Claudio (ninas@execpc.com)
