Gary, *** OT on free ISP *** want to save even more? Get a free ISP..

Free Net access offered

Tritium Network (www.tritium.net) said it has begun to launch an advertiser-supported,
free Internet access program in six U.S. cities. Cincinnati, Chicago and Boston are already
operating; Washington and New York are due at the end of the month, and New York is set
to come online April 6, the company said. Tritium customers get free access in exchange
for using a customized browser which displays advertisements in a narrow, tickertape-like
fashion at the bottom of their screens. Ads change every 30 seconds, based on user
demographics. About once a month users are also asked to fill out questionnaires about
buying preferences. For example, if they indicate plans to buy a car in the next six months,
they will likely see ads with cars.

Come to think of it: Iomega should advertise there.
