Year 2000 Bugs infesting over 40% of firms Now

The Information Technology Association of America reported about 44% of companies said they are already being hit by the millennium bug in day-to-day operations. The-thirds of the companies hit a snag when they conducted Year 2000 tests. About 45% of those polled said they were still in the early stages of preparing for the century switch.
