Martin, why don't you use a Canadian broker? I know a few that take US clients and have an 800 number. On larger trades they are actually cheaper than discount brokers, and the execution time is faster too.

Martin, Call National Securities Corp. 1-800-800-9217 Ask for David Britt They are in Spokane WA. and trade the Canadian exchanges daily. Trades are cleared through Canaccord. They receive all of Canaccords research and recommendations on a daily basis. Reasonable commissions and you won't get screwed on the exchange although your account is in US dollars. At least worth a call to Dave for info. Regards, RL
