Wiz...No, haven't seen any sales numbers on DVD or DIVX; and, to be honest, I was sort of writing off DIVX as a bad idea gone wrong...so there is life after all?
I see that more and more of the computer sellers are offering a DVD option, or an upgrade option if you go to their web sites and check their best buys (example, Cybermax...at www.Cybmax.com). And my Computer Shopper appears to have more DVD offerings each issue lately.
So, if there are computer sales of DVD, and not too much direct consumer....then, is the computer the route that DVD takes to get into the home? And if so, how does DIVX get in? (since I don't see DIVX as a PC offering?) Or, as is entirely possible, am I missing the whole point entirely?? <g\>
BTW, just to prove that I enjoy a little pie (like of the humble pie variety)... I am advised by old friends in the wireless game that GSM is going to be around for a long, long time, and re-supply into that market can remain a rather profitable game for quite some time... even though CDMA will likely be a bigger grower and will win the game eventually. SO....you were right again...but we are used to that, no? <gg> TSO
