<I do not believe Microsoft's success is based on the product quality or services. All other application companies also create good (or better) products but still face the pressure from Microsoft. Even the innovative product (Netscape) can not make thing better. Microsoft's reputation to create innovative product is poor.>

Again I have to disagree with you. Office 97 is a breakthrough. It is the only suite that doubles as a shrinkwrapped productivity suite and a very capable RAD platform. Word is very productive and intelligent, no other wordprocessor is as easy to use. Excel 97 is by far the best of breed (see my Excel valuation app at rcmfinancial.com ) and so is Internet Explorer. Lotus, Quattro Pro, and Applix don't even come close to the flexibility of Excel, the common VBA language allows corporations extreme flexibility. You know Nav doesn't touch IE, even if you don't admit it. IIS 4.0 with crash protection is a leader (developed from scartch). InterDev 1.0/2.0 (developed from scratch)is the best web development tool currently available, FP 98 is the easiest to use and delivers superior results. Access 97 is the most flexible desktop database you can get. I could go on, but I should have communicated the point by now.
