Steve:

I can't believe that the Etrade rep didn't tell you to link your accounts. The way you have it set up now you would have to close your browser and reopen it everytime you wanted to access the other account. Instead all you have to do is have the two accounts linked. I happen to have three Etrade accounts and they are all linked. Once this is done, all you have to do is go to "switch accounts" and then all your linked accounts will appear and you click on the one you want to access. Also, you only have to give your user name and password once - not for each account (because they are linked). Any messages from any linked account will appear regarless of whether you access that particular account.

By the way I never had to fill out any forms to have this implemented. I called for the first one, and emailed them for the second one.
