Sometimes I had a hard time understanding posts that would name a number of stocks and not have a clear sense of which stock was assessment, factory, etc.

Please to remember that "definitions" in this so called profession are made up on the fly. How folks use the terminology (assessement, inventory, remediation, etc.) is completely subject to whim in most circumstances.

e.g. one vendors assessment is the next guys inventory.

Bottom line: there's no Oxford English Dictionary to consult to be sure someone is using the vocabulary correctly.
