FWIW, he remains chairman.

Alan,

"CEOs falling like autumn leaves" I can't agree more. Wall Street
has really developed some amazing expectations of tech companies
these days. Intel has one year of flat growth and the street becomes
bitter. Iomega gives the street a 100 bagger and when the stock
takes a little breather the rats jump ship. We all have to develop
a better sense of patience with tech companies and not day trade
them.

I remain long on IOM and am thinking about some call options as well,

-John

Alan,

<<CEOs falling like autumn leaves!

CNBC just announced that Grove of Intel is retiring as CEO. Replacement onboard and ready to go May 1.>>

Grove isn't falling like an autumn leave. He's now in his early 60's and is going to be the full-time chairman of the Board. Graig Barrett (sp?), now COO is taking Grove's position as President and CEO. As you known, Grove is one of the founders of Intel and Barrett has been with the company for over 25 years. He's the person who executed Intel's manufacturing strategy over the past years.

I sure would not infer that KE is in the same class as Grove or Barrett. Assuming that this was the intent of your posting.

Stock Bull

PS: Intel also announced that they are going to buy back 100 million shares. Stock up 1 1/4. IOM now trading below 7!!!
