Nancy, Yes that does define the God I know. Again, the only difference is that I dont belive that definition limits his love to those that profess allegiance to the Christian , Jewish, Hindu, or any other religion. It doesn even limit Gods love to those that are "good". God Loves all, regardless. Mark

Somehow people get so caught up in being right (maybe because of fear as you said) that they loose the Love of God. I believe He will teach them as His own with patience and gentleness and not anger and criticism. Thank you very much Nancy. I believe this is where Mark has been heading and I agree with this. I believe in Jesus and that he died for our salvation. I believe he came with a message of love for all of mankind. I do not believe God will reject any of his creation. We should follow Christ's example. But not because we fear retribution. Not because of fear of fire, brimstone, torture or eternal banishment. We should follow Christ's example out of love and gratitude for the tremendous gift we have been given. Henry
