Bob, You don't have to mess around with these private placements. The article was kind of vague about the conversion price. The original $14.55 sounds good for equity holders and convert buyers, but the oddball part about the price prior to conversion left me kind of cold, or, at least shaking my head. I'm going to call them tomorrow and see if I can figure it out.

I like this co, but I don't buy calls on $11 stocks. The stock itself is about the price of some Leaps, and it has a much longer expiration date. -g- I wish I could get some of the converts.

I think Ballard is a new ride at Six Flags Astro World. Even brave, dumb teenagers get off with the blood drained from their faces. MB

Bob, It was funny how notes on this thread come together even when they don't seem related. You mentioned Ballard. I was wondering why my platinum and palladium stocks were rising in price. One reason is that Ford, Daimler, and Ballard struck a deal on fuel cells that use a lot of platinum. I always complain about other analysts not being able to put two and two together, but, on this one, I was less than a math wizard. The light suddenly went on. "Daddy, why am I so dumb?" "Duh, I don't know." -g- MB
