I agree, in the LONG RUN, yes it probably good for INTC to equip said plant with 300 technology, but in the short run, it is just another example of pushouts...No? It especially seems ominous (sp) since INTC is believed to have huge cash reserves...Interesting announcement to debate..

It surely is another sign of overcapacity and their decision to not "rush" to deploy the latest greatest technology. JMHO and comments are welcome!

In closing, many posters in the past have stated that this will be the time period where the "cash rich and well capitalized" semi companies would rush in to crush the competition with upgrades, etc....Clearly, INTC is not doing this here!

Again, JMHO, please HELP ME if I am misguided!! <G>
