That's not the way I heard it down on the rancho - it was el Almirante Don Saz Quachi Juan de Fuca, who went on a three hour tour and was blown off course way up the Mississippi. In his memory, a strait was named after him on the West Coast, which is kind of ironic, since being a sailor and all, and having visited the Fields of the Herb in Michoac n, he wouldn't have been all that straight.
