Take my word on this...BT wouldn't know what to do with QWST. After the way they handled the MCI transaction and had their party crashed by Wall Street (yup, it was Grubman who brought the deal to WCOM, not the other way around - serves 'em right for almost costing Solomon and Soros $200M each in arbitrage losses) how would they put a value on QWST's balance sheet? And there's no way they'll let themselves get bought by a smaller company. Not unless the "Sirs" who run the company decide to retire en masse.
