Interesting opinion but I strongly disagree. In fact, IMO it's the low end crappy resolution cameras (i.e. those less than 1024x768) which have given digital photography a bad reputation and which has let so many consumers down. I read an article late last year that estimated that 30% of first time digital camera consumers returned their cameras due to poor picture quality.
