t's good to be afraid and you might have reason to be in CSCO. They're headed
the same way INTC is because of lower margins - IMHO.

Yes, all the networkers are looking a slowly sagging margins going forward but to suggest Cisco is any worse shape relative to margins than any other networker is a huge assumption. COM's is hurting because they sell a lot of "widgets" and are competing heavily with INTC now. Cisco keeps saying that margins will weaken and they keep improving - strange? I think ASND and CSCO margins will hold up well. I should point out that Cisco is selling more and more of their products via the web - taking out the reseller thereby reducing the discounts they need to offer. Also the Asian thing will reduce costs for components... I don't think there's a comparison between INTC and CSCO as far as margins are concerned.

In fact, I hope Cisco's margins do well...and Cisco does well not only because I'm a big Cisco holder, but because I'm heavily invested in the tech sector. We, as ASND investors should all hope that companies like Cisco, Msft, Intc, etc.. do well - not poorly. A poor showing by these companies has a dampening effect on the entire sector.
