I think once we get a little "momentum" on the earnings "visibility" then LSI will begin a long run. It will help when we get past the Street's obsession with Y2K diversionary spending. In plain English, I think LSI will mess around until autumn of '98 or early '99. Then we're off to the races. I confess that I am looking for strength into which to sell covered calls, expecting that I can buy them back on the cheap or, if I'm called away, to at least get back in on a pullback. I am beginning to wonder if LSI might not be a takeover candidate. I don't necessarily mean an unfriendly one. Intel? Samsung? Hitachi? Toshiba? Even Philips or SUNW? Pure rank rumor mongering on my part.
