There's an interesting story coming out about Internet Explorer 5.0, coded named Chrome. It says in the paper today that this new browser will have rich 3D graphics and cd quality sound that will down load faster than todays browsers using special coding techniques. They suggest advertising online will enter new dimensions.

Interesting thing is it will be very processor intensive, requiring a 350mhz Pentium. Looks like some stimuliae for the high end can come from the Internet? I guess this will also demand bigger disk drives.

Regards,

Mark

irthrifty, You are right on topic with tip to Outlook98 which I am installing as we speak. Thanks!

Aside re Mark Oliver's report on IE5 requiring people on planet Earth to upgrade to at least a 350MHz P-II: Andy Grove should be smiling. In fact he could kick back and retire with this bit o'news. : )
