I would restate: Learning how to maximize your gains and minimize your losses is the beginning of stock market wisdom.

By the way, as an old timer, very long and holding: welcome to all shorts. It's good to have you around. In the long run, we will thank you many times over.

As I write, CNBC, speaking about urgency of Y2K problem and how underestimated.

I second that. Anyone can buy a stock but you have to learn how to sell... with a profit or a loss.

How dumb does this sound but when I take losses I feel better afterwards than when I take a profit. Luckily I don't get that feeling too much!
