Hasn't the yen DEpreciated over the last year? More yen for a dollar.

None of that "golf" craze(y) going on here in Malaysia hehehe.. Sure wish I could short some of these property companies that are depending on the Taiwanese and Japanese golfers for income.

Worswick; I chart currencies regular, and I dont see what your
taking about..Since Jan 96..the Yen has had a big fall relitive
to the dollar..it spiked some last June July..but droped back
off..it's right at 20% off the levels it was back in 96.
Japan has kept the Yen low and the printing presses running,
and flooded the world with Yen, on the idea it lets them catch
market share by making their imports cheap. That seems to work
for them in a lot of ways..They sure sell more goods to our
South Americian neighbors than we do..heck they almost sell
more stuff to us than we do. <G>
