There has been some good discussion on this thread in the past about ORCL options. Can anyone help with with a covered call strategy? I've accumulated a substantial number of shares of ORCL over the past 12 years. I realize that I should have been writing covered calls (and maybe buying protective puts) all along. However, the return just doesn't seem high enough to warrant the risk of being called out.

For example, June 35 calls are now 1 1/16. If I write 100 calls, I pocket $101.25 ($106.50 minus my broker's commission) and hope that ORCL stays under 35 for 3 more months. One hundred dollars is one hundred dollars, but since I'm bullish on the company, it just doesn't seem enough to compensate for the risk of having to deliver my shares (or buy back the option). What am I missing? Is the premium here just too low to bother with? Or is this a viable strategy?

Would appreciate any comments/advice.

Approaching 200 DMA

We are just 1/4 away from breaking 200 DMA on ORCL, let's hope we close above 31 1/2 and leave the rest on Larry for April 2nd.
