The continuing strength among land drillers and shallower offshore drillers, particularly relative to the deep drillers like RIG and DO suggests a growing consensus around the notion that oil prices will be stronger and with them utilization and dayrates should look very good. We should have an environment that supports positive earnings revisions when earnings reports start coming in next quarter. Picking companies that will have very strong quarterly comparisons and that are likely to get earnings upgrades should prove very profitable over the next few weeks. Baird
