''S&P Starts Coverage of Summit Design with Accumulate Rating'' http://www.personalwealth.com/prn05/ Standard & Poor's chief equity analyst Robert Natale initiated coverage of

Summit Design (SMMT) with a Four-STAR (accumulate) recommendation. He said
the company has a dominant share of the emerging front-end graphics packages
market for electronic design automation software. December quarter revenues
jumped 72% on new product introductions, and Natale suspects that additional
orders were held back so that Summit could more easily make analysts' earnings
estimates for March. Get unbiased opinions on stocks in the news every trading
day from S&P STARS Picks and Pans.

Holding back orders makes sense if they were planning a stock sale - they would want to ensure they have a blowout quarter.
