cfedd, Everyone here on this thread knows that Calvin was the guppy. You have enlightened no one. We liked Calvin then and we like him now. No one has iron clad information. The fact of the matter is that yes, S3 was going to purchase CRUS's graphic division. Why not, they were infringing on their patent rights. Shortly before the finalization of this buyout the shit hit the fan and S3 got hit from all directions and found themselves in a situation that made the buyout impossible. CRUS was lucky to get their settlement from S3 as far as I am concerned. At the time maybe Calvin knew a little more than he should have been talking about on the thread, but then again don't we all become a little enthusiastic when we think we have positive information. At any rate there is a good book for you at the library written by Dale Carnegie, titled "How to Win Friends and Influence People". Good Luck.
