Rocky, same thing happened to me on WDC last year. Lucky for me that I had made enough money on it going up that the loss was small in comparison.

However, the reluctance of most people on this thread to sell is probably a reflection of the large amount they have already lost. It is really hard for people to break out of that mentality. I feel sorry for them, because it's happened to me numerous times.

Just for the record, though, I'm short at 7 1/8. (interestingly enough the trade said 7 1/16 on the E-Trade screen when I traded it, but it was 7 1/8 when I got the confirm; has this happened to you before?)

Considering that you are 'short' Iomega, one could assume that your judgement is weighted heavier in one direction than the other

I have to agree with Rocky on this one. Same thing happened
to me with APM. One thing I have now is time so I'll just
sit and wait for my re-entry point. IOM will stay in the
4-8 range for the next few weeks/months IMO.
