I find it difficult to understand why some of you consider size to be important, unless you are trading NYSE issues. On the Nasdaq, the MM's do not have to post their actual inventory. In fact, it is not uncommon to see a MM such as MLCO or GSCO showing a size of 1000 shares on the ask and stay there all day selling all they can. Until the NASDAQ requires the MM to show their actual inventory at that price, I see no real value to such information.

Its you guys that trade too much that are clogging up the bandwith! Do you have any idea how hard it is to get a free quote at 9:30am? I want quotes with size...SIZE.
