*AV*--I have my shares at a higher price and have decided not to average down here. The resignation of the CEO did not cause a very good pop in the price of the stock and sales are slowing. I really expected to see higher sales related to OEM incorporation of the the Zip drives as a replacement for the 3.5" drive. Therefore, I will just sit it out until I get the profit I want out of it.

Is it about time to get some IOM? AV? ANYONE?

Why, just because the stock looks cheap right now?
The company just fired the CEO under mysterious
circumstances. It's main product, ZIP drive is tapering
off. The newer product aren't so well received. It
still has to fend off the resurgent Syquest. All these
adds up to more downward pressure. Of course, if the CEO
search turn up someone highly regarded, the stock would rally
one or two points. Otherwise, I don't see any upside at this
moment.

Bottomline, with the recent pre announcement, we are assured
of a couple bad quarters from IOM. Plenty of time to jump back
in. I would rather err on the side of caution at this point.
Plus, I'll wait to see the new CEO and what s/he has in store
for IOM.
