Rob,
Did you know Dave M, and were you still there when they hired some
engineers from micron?? I think that within the next quarter we will
TI out DRAM's for several reasons

1. Investors have been sold on the Intel model of getting out
of the commodity chip market and into DSP's and they will push
TI's management to sell off there DRAM business and concentrate
on DSP's
2. TI has great technology but in DRAMS the only way they have been
able to do anything with has been with patent royalty payments, not
a bad way to make money but longer term Micron and Korean's will
turn the table on TI with patents
3. Samsung and Micron are out shrinking everyone else including TI,
this will leave TI with a die thats bigger and more expensive.

Just my 2 cents worth.
